Google Offers Free Analytics for Google Search Appliance and Google Mini Customers

Saturday, July 22nd, 2006

Today Google announce the availability of free, hosted Google
Analytics accounts to all of our current Google Search Appliance and Google
Mini customers. Google Analytics is a powerful tool for
understanding the effectiveness of your web presence by tracking visitor
behavior and content performance. Google Analytics can help you answer
questions like:
- “How popular is our user registration process, and how often do those who
sign up then purchase a product? Or are users just after the free content?”
- “Our site has a lot of great multi-media content on it, but users aren’t
staying on it very long. Where are our users leaving our site?
- “What are our most effective online advertising campaigns for driving users
to our site?”
- “We’ve heard internationalization is a good thing - but where are our
visitors coming from and what technologies are they using to access our
site? Wouldn’t it be neat if we could visualize all of these visitors on
a world map?”
