Dell Manufactures the Google Search Appliance

Friday, June 22nd, 2007
Google has recently started working with Dell to manufacture the Google Search Appliance. This partnership enables Google to focus more on the software side of the Google Search Appliance. Additionally, Dell’s international reach is helping to make the Google Search Appliance available faster in markets around the globe.
This is a big step for Google…letting someone else close to the code on the Google Search Appliance.  Also the last I checked Dell was close with Fast Search and Transfer a Google Search Appliance Competitor.
