A million searches, and we’ve got to celebrate that!

We’re going to have a contest, celebrating “finding what you’re REALLY looking for” and to thank you for supporting our mission, which is exactly that. So we’re dreaming up some prizes, and we’ll announce that soon.
Many of you have also asked us for a toolbar (thanks) and we’re working on that now. First we’ll roll out a really simple one, but we have ideas for some great power-user features and we’re working on that one for a second rollout later on.
Custom Toolbar Available at www.goebelgroup.com
A few more things we’ve done recently, per your suggestions. We changed the right two columns in the search results, we added icons to the columns, we underlined the column names to call out sorting, we introduced click-back memory and we added the ability to sort via a pull down menu. Thanks so much for all the great ideas, please keep them coming.

What’s your reaction on Google Base - Beta Launch.
Well, for those of you that don’t know Google launched Google Base; a few days ago – of course in the typical Google way in BETA.
Here is a post on Google’s blog about it.
it will be very interesting to see how this plays out. To me, it looks like Google wants to own the online commerce/classified world. This could be potentially bad for eBay, Amazon, Craigslist, Yahoo!, and a slew of other companies.
Looks like I am not the only one thinking this way. Check out this story at Fool.com.
